St. Cloud State's Advancement & Alumni Engagement department works to facilitate these student and faculty experiences through philanthropy, in addition to celebrating our alumni and their accomplishments as stewards of the University. The department works in alumni relations, gift administration, database planning, finance and accounting, and annual and major giving. Staff are committed to working with donors in fulfilling their philanthropic passion in accordance with the Foundation gift acceptance policy and all applicable state and federal laws.
Advancement & Alumni Engagement manages the St. Cloud State Foundation, which was formed in 1958 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization to provide a means for alumni, friends and corporations to make tax deductible contributions in support of the University. The Foundation operates on a July 1 fiscal year, and is governed by an independent Board of Trustees whose operating structure is set forth by its by-laws. Advancement & Alumni Engagement Staff are committed to working with donors in fulfilling their philanthropic passion in accordance with the Foundation gift acceptance policy and all applicable state and federal laws.
