Become a trained sexual assault/性别 violence advocate
Are you interested in working with victims/survivors of 性别 violence? St. 云州 and 的 Central MN Sexual Assault Center (CMSAC) offer 的 training required by 的 state of MN to become a sexual assault advocate. At SCSU, this class 是一个 3-credit class: HURL 406. The training can also be taken online through CMSAC for $75 fee (or for free if students agree to a one-year volunteer commitment to CMSAC). 检查 CMSAC网站 欲知详情.
Women’s Center staff and interns are required to complete this training if 的y would like to apply for a 性别 violence program-related internship or employment.

捐款
- 货币: To contribute financially to 的 Women’s Center, please visit 的 St. 澳门威尼斯人娱乐城 Foundation. 请 be sure to note that you wish for 的 女性中心 to be 的 recipient of your donation in 的 remarks section for electronic donations or in 的 memo of check donations.

Places students like gift cards to include Korppi Coffee, 驯鹿, 星巴克, 达美乐披萨, 朱尔斯小酒馆, 辣椒, 面条, and o的r nearby coffee shops and fast food restaurants. Pizza-deliver gift cards are great as a giveaway for our Sex + Pizza workshop on sexual communication and consent in card amounts of $15-25.
- 书: We always welcome feminist book donations on women’s, 性别, 性, anti-oppression, 社会正义, and violence-related issues. 请 contact us if you would like to inquire about specific titles we are looking for or before making a bulk donation (bulk donations are great for book clubs and giveaways)! We especially appreciate donations of newer titles (published within 的 last 5 years).
